It's Thursday, def-def-definitely Thursday. Garden State was a good movie but what rocks way more than the movie is the soundtrack. Go buy it.

I want to be one of those people that other just adore. I want a crowd of people around me at all times just looking at me and sking me questions about my life. I want the paparazzi to follow me everywhere. I don't want to be famous I just want people to be really drawn to me in public settings. Is that too much to ask for?

Coming from someone who didn't have much of a senior year, "Have fun during your senior year!!!" You'll never get that time back. I think I had my senior year when I was a freshman. Then worked my way backward. I'm now a grey hermit that lives out of his car and always smells funny. But you still have time to change your life. I'm not saying party and have sex. I think I'm saying that you should get out and meet people and do things with all of them. Do what you want, not what others want.

ok, so i am getting really lonely. my class schedule is all messed up and i am home most of the time everyone else is in school. after HW is all done, what else is one supposed to do... go snorkelling in his/her own pool? "ooo look at that starfish over there!" Done that... Should I wash my car for the 4th time in its life..? Naw... Maybe I should get online and mess with my blog.... I want something to do. I need to start my business soon. Anyone want to invest?

I read this in a mountain bike ad:
"There are few problems in life that pedaling harder can't make better."
I just thought it was cute.

Well my faint idea of when COS starts has become more clear now. Probably because it started 3 days ago. Yeah well I almost missed but the keyword there is "almost." My goal to become a hermit isn't playing out too well... I keep talking to people at school, but not cuz I want to. I think it's cuz I have to. Am I retarded? Maybe it's cuz it's exactly like freshman year in highschool; I mean I know some of the people I see on campuse (just like frosh yr in HS) and I'm completely intimidated by the rest (also, just like frosh yr in HS.)

I seem to have been lacking in postage lately - and when I do post, it's only because I have something to boast about. Are blogs outdated yet? Are they dying or thriving? Am I dying in the blog world. Why am I not motivated to code and manipulate this borrowed template you see before you? Is it cuz I'm lazy or because blogs don't mean as much to me as they used to. Maybe it's cuz everyone seems to have some sort of blog whether it be a xanga or myspace or plain old blogspot account. It should be a crime to ramble like I am doing now, and a fellony to ask so many stupid questions when one knows the small number of viewers can't respond. Unless of course they emailed me at my new gmail account. DUM da DUM!!! mailto:joshuaperry@gmail.com

Maybe this will be my final point. In one of sedaris' books, he recalls his days as a modern artist in college while doing meth all the while: He suggests that artists he knew wold make sculptures of birds' nests out of human hair and he himself created a museum peice involving his personal rubish and insects' blood. My thought is of that dude that made a portrait of the Virgin Mary out of himan feces. Finally the most important question in my mind is did he handle the feces with his bare hands and if so, were his fingernails kept as short as possible?

Not the last thought... Sorry. Ummm. I hate it when kids are drunk, but I hate it even more when kids get drunk then go driving and hit people in other cars potentially killing or permanently injuring them. I do believe that I will take it upon myself to somehow create ghetto spikestrips, if you will, then go place them under people's car tires at parties. Attached to the spikestrip (that I have carefully fasioned out of a 2X4 and nails) will be a note noting this:
Do not drink and drive, and if you're not drunk then this message was not meant for you.

Then I figure if the person is sober enough to change their tire, they are probably sober enough to drive home. Good idea? I think so. I just don't want to get hit by those careless bastards. Pardon my language please.

Finally, Joshua is all blogged out. Thanks to everyone who has called upon me for my services this summer. Spread the word. "Joshua Perry fixes computers for cheap!"
Well... Go ahead... Spread it. Go tell your mom or something. I'm probably half as much as the next guy charges. I'm trying for a business license as well so it'll all be legal baby. What's a good name for my little company? I dunno. When I come up with one, I'll tell you. Night.
