So this weekend's been alright...

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is Charlie Kaughman's new movie. It's gonna be about this dude and his girlfriend that break up so she has this procedure done where he's erased from her mind. He can't live knowing that they won't be together so he has the same procedure done. Right in the middle of it, he tries to stop it and doesn't want to forget her. It sounds like it's gonna be crazy. It's Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst, Elijah Wood. It should be awesome. He was the guy who wrote Adaptation and Being John Malkovich.

I feel like I'm the only one alive in my family. None of them ever do anything different. They all stick to their boring schedules. I want to see my mom sit on her butt for a week straight and order me around. Or I want to see my dad all of a sudden build a tree fort. I want to be a little different day to day. I just want to come home to something unexpected and God knows I give them that all the time. I dunno, I'm praying for them.

Have you guys seen that movie Adaptation or read the book The Orchid Thief? Well, there's a specific orchid focused on in the story called the GHOST ORCHID (polyradicion lindenii). It's seriously the sickest of all plants I've ever seen and it's really rare and endangered. It's impossible to cultivate but possible to grow. I would love to learn how to grow and care for one so I could see my own ghost orchid bloom. The reason it's called the ghost is cuz it seems to float in the air. It's amazing! I can't stop looking at pictures of it. It looks so beautiful and amazing. In the movie, Adaptation, this character John Laroche goes on about how it reminds him of a woman, but most orchids remind me of women. It's just plain amazing.

Most people think witches are a convent of lesbians dancing naked in the forest, celebrating the semen stolen from imprisoned hypnotised males, which they then use to inseminate one another using turkey basters in order to create a legion of demon babies... Well that's only part of it, we are also active in community outreach programs. People in this town just like us, cuz they misunderstand us. But it's all laid out clearly in the words we chant over our victims;

"By'd the Wicken laws ye must, ropes that bind and dagger thrust. Never turn your back and never trust, but ever dread our demon lust. What ye sent forth come back to thee, fire and fang and fear times three. Torment awaits your treachery, while we scream with mirthless glee."

And that's pretty much where we're comin' from.

Matthew and I are possibly going to S.F. this weekend with the girls. It should be fun. I don't usually like big cities but I think I'll be comfortable with them there.
Coach went crazy in tennis today, he's gross.

Taylor, Matthew, Daniel and I went to the Globetrotters Game at the Savemart Center tonight! Geese were they funny. Well, kinda funny. No, they were cool. It was fun, I don't think I'll ever need to see them again but they were cool. That's all. Matthew and I are starting Imageless Month on Wednesday.

We went to the beach house and just got back. It was a blast baby! Matt and Carl ended up going as well. We went on bike rides and midnight rides and skimboarding and KG and Carl were awesome at it. We drove out to the rock last night and the stars were really bright. It was great! I can't wait to go back! My plants are doing well just to let you know. Ummm, going to the Globetrotters game tonight, I think it will be fun. Yay!

There are two awesome possibilities today. First, we may go to the beach house. Second KG may come. If both played out, this weekend would be "RAWR!"

latest song::::Simon and Garfunkle - Sound of Silence

I woke up really late today and walked in and sat down in Civics. The Oto says we're gonna watch a video, so she pops it in and it's of these little kids jumping out of the trunk of a car. They all jump out and lay on the ground. Their shirts all have letters on them, and they're all crying. Then the camera zooms in so you can read the shirts and it spells "SADIES" then the camera pans to the side where a dog is sitting that looks exactly like Angel (Carl's dog) and she has a sign with a question mark hanging from her neck. Then these two ninjas jump on screen with only their eyes showing and it says "Josh" on one ninja's chest and "Matt L." on the other. I barely recognized what was going on I was so tired. Haha, our girlfriends are so awesome. So all in all, today was awesome! I can't wait 'till we say "Yes"

Bible study last night was awesome. We're doing a study on understanding mormons. We're learning their basic beliefs and everything. There's nothing bad about it. We're all being very understanding, it's cool.
Oh and giving blood was probably the coolest thing I've ever done. It was awesome. It feels good to know that I'm probably gonna help save someone's life. I dunno, if you've never done it, I suggest you research the process and everything, it's awesome.

Wednesday, February 18, 2004

Today's gonna be awesome. Yesterday was awesome. I'm giving blood today and if you're 17 you should give blood too. I'm sooo scared but I think it'll be worth it. You're pretty much gauranteed to save one person's life but you could possibly be saving 3 people's lives with every pint. It's just a crazy concept.

I pray for my future wife and for me as a future husband. Please think about your future kids, it's yours so shape it.

At supercamp I learned how to memorize any list of 20 things within like 4 minutes. I busted out my list today and was practicing memorizing and reciting lists with anyone who was willing to give me items. I'm gonna do a list of fifty with James by the end of the weekend. I'm stoaked.

latest song::::Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah

So this weekend was awesome. Sorry I didn't post so I'll recap. The girls took us up snowboarding on Valentine's but KG and I just stayed in the car the whole time while Matthew and Carl went skiing. Then that night Matthew and I set up the projector and a white sheet by the spa and we watched Lost In Translation in steaming hot water. Then Sunday we went to church and I made the kids watch Rain Man. I think they liked it. Today was a well deserved loner day for me, but I still saw Kage for like 2 hours for lunch and such. My family and I went out and flew remote control airplanes and my father commissioned me to replant a bunch of hanging plants in the back yard. I did so. Then I planted a whole bunch of pots of my own and am really excited about my new found hobby of gardening.

It's a big weekend! Lot's of stuff goin' down. I have one wish and one wish only for this mighty weekend, I hope it comes true.

Thursday, February 12, 2004

I took a shower and got all cleaned up after tennis today because I thought that someone might ask me to do something. I feel like I pursue and pursue and pursue and no one ever contacts me or asks me or invites me. This isn't part of being a hermit, this is just straight loneliness.

There are over 29 million people in South Africa that have the HIV/AIDS virus. Holy geese that's ridiculous. The average life span is 32 years. 29,000,000 people!!! That's 29 thousand Visalias full of people with AIDS. What the heck are people thinking man. It's just another reason to be abstinent.

Bible study was awesome last night. We always go way off topic and end up talking about some crazy thing. I went to sleep at like 2 last night. I dunno know why but I'm surprised I'm awake right now. Tennis is getting to be more fun, I think I'm gonna be pretty good this year. Compared to #18 out of 19 kids last year. I honestly think I might be like #5 or #4. Ooooooo, I wanna go play right now. Haha, have a good day everyone. Thanks for visiting me during practice yesterday KG!

DUDE!!! Mighty Beanz are awesome. My mom bought me some and I'm so obsessed now!

My stomach hurts and I know I'm gonna come home early because of it. This sucks, I hate this feeling. Geese what's wrong with me!

Tuesday, February 10, 2004

I've been practicing paino ever since I got home. It seems like I could practice forever and never get anywhere. I learn so little so slowly. I want to understand chord structure and stuff. That would be awesome. I need some kind of book or something. I need my own paino and some stupid book and someone needs to lock me in a room and I need to learn a song a day if I want food. Then they'll slide it under the door until I have all the songs ever written memorized, then I can get out. Yeah, so if you're up to it, just come and kidnap me. I'll be waiting.

Life gets better with every passing moment. I went to Target tonight with Matthew and we bought our girlfriends Valentine's presents. We saw Tyler and Rochelle (sp?) there. It was a nice surprise. KG's gonna think my present is either awesome, or really lame. So we'll see... Anyway, life's going swell but if yours isn't and you're seriously bummed, you can call me at 7860073. Same goes for if you happen to be reading this as your deciding if your too drunk to drive. Call me I'll come get cha. That goes for ANYONE! If you don't call me and you end up hurt, I'll be mad.

Here's a little video of me with red eyes. Have fun I hope you enjoy. Muahahahaha!!!

So I put my hamster in this huge fish tank that Hope gave me a long time ago. He loves it. It's like 5 times as big as his previous habitat and I've started to decorate the back wall with posters of his favorite celebs. So far we got Lindsay Lohan and Elton John up there. But the best thing about this new tank is that it's cat proof. It's like too heavy for the cats to knock over and I made a fiberglass lid so they can't get in through the top. Symmi's just a dwarf hamster but he's still getting big. I promise I'll have pictures soon, I just need some kind of camera to take them with.

Whistle tips are at John-T's for like 5 bucks. So don't worry, "Dat's only in da mornin, you're supposed to be up cookin' breakfast or somethin' by then so it's like and alarm clock. WoooWoooooo!!!"

In Russia, call me danger lord
Come take a seat on my danger sword
Look at my hammer when I dash for speed
When I use microphone, I'm the best you need
I have two side, one happy one anger
You can ask a stanger, my board is fast and danger!

I can't say how sorry I am that I missed your special day Grandma Barb. I believe that you know how much I wanted to be there. Thank you for bringing us all so much joy all the time. I really appreciate you. Take care, see you later.

To love life is the only way to live life.

It's Friday, I hope I get to spend some time with the Beast. That's all I do all day. I just sit and hope that I get to be with her.
-The Essential Bruce Springsteen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!

Matthew 5:43 - "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. "

This dude once said to me, "You can't just take ONE verse man!" I have to admit, this is true in this situation. He said this only after giving me one verse explaining the ONLY three ways to praise God, and music wasn't one of them. (As if the music thing is even that important, why would you even spend so much time flaunting it?)

this is a blog about a dude, not a church... sorry for the confusion....

Mr Burke totally tricked me in Psych today. They made me think I was psychic! Those punks trully got me but I was honestly changed for the rest of the day. It was weird. I dunno...

Act as though every time you speak to someone, Jesus is holding their hand... because he really IS holding their hand. He heard what I said to my little sister yesterday about how she breathes too loud and what I said to my father very sarcastically last night. It's scary but more amazing than anything.

We flew out this morning and landed in Santa Barbara at about 930. It was an awesome day although I was really stressed out all of yesterday about it. Anyway, Carl sat up with the pilot today on the way over and had such a blast. We met this dude Jeremy at UCSB and he showed us all around campus, he was such a nice guy. He had a skateboard with longboard wheels on it and let Matt and I ride it around. It was a long and tiresome day, I'm looking foreward to just sitting on my butt tomorrow at good old Whitney and I'll worry about college later. Most of the submission dates have past anyway. Except Westmont's arggg.... Oh yeah! Tennis started on Monday and I'm so excited about practice tomorrow!

I live for this person, yet all I do is piss her off...

Kaughman (Wells) asked us what the 4 different types of women are. I answered:
Pure and caring
Impure and caring
Pure but careless
Impure and careless

A lot of people fall under that 4th category. It's actually really sad in my opinion. It seems like there's gotta be some other world out there where girls live for God and are perfect. I know of a few that made it to Earth, but most of y'all are disgusting.

When life is the most demanding, I'm accused. I have to go to Westmont tomorrow for my admission interview. I'm totally stressed out and I have no idea of what I'm going to say. These times are times of hardship, not accusation and wether or not people make eachother the happiest they possibly can. I have a life and all I want to do is live it. If you're hurt along the way, I didn't mean to hurt you, and if I did mean it, I'll make it perfectly clear to you.

Dude, this whole iTunes thing is honestly awesome. I got The Essential Bruce Springsteen set. I just put the CD in my pc to go through the whole process of ripping the songs, changing them into mp3s then drag them to my iPod. Guess what, I put the CD in, iTunes was like "want these on your pod?" I was like, "yeah" and now I'm going to sleep! WOOHOO, otherwise it woulda taken me like 30 min.

Geese KG, you make me so tired. I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight. Times are the best they've ever been. I love life! I may seem bipolar, and maybe I am, but I can't deny that I'm REALLY happy.
